What is the purpose of this Study?
The Milby Street Corridor Study aims to create a safer, more inclusive, and connected transportation corridor that reflects the priorities of the East End community. The project emphasizes accessibility for all users—pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and drivers—while promoting equitable and sustainable urban mobility solutions that enhance neighborhood livability and economic opportunity.
Why is it happening?
The Milby Street corridor is a vital connector for residents, schools, businesses, and recreational destinations and this study will help build a safer, more connected transportation corridor reflective of the East End community’s priorities, character, and history.

Study Milestones and Timelines

The study began in late 2025 with the development of the Community Engagement Plan. Community outreach planning is currently underway to connect with the diverse audiences whose interests, experiences, and insights will help inform this study.
What’s Next
Two formal community meetings will be hosted to present and gather feedback on the evolving Milby Street Corridor Study.

Project Milestones
After gathering community feedback across multiple channels–including comments, questions, and recurring themes from stakeholder and public meetings–the team will develop a follow-up “You Spoke, We Heard” summary to highlight what we heard and how community input will shape the project moving forward.
